State of Mind Head to Castleford Tigers today

Daryl Powell has named his 19 man squad to take on Warrington Wolves here at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Sunday 11 June in the State of Mind Round (KO 3:30pm).

Powell welcomes back a host of players after choosing to rest some tired bodies last week. Zak Hardaker, Luke Gale, Grant Millington and Michael Shenton all return along with Adam Milner who has recovered from injury.

After the win over St Helens that Powell describes as ‘one of his best at the club’ the head coach isn’t taking Sunday’s opposition lightly: “Warrington have good players, collectively they are not quite pulling it together at the moment but that doesn’t mean they won’t on Sunday. We are mindful that we need to turn up and play our best game on Sunday.”

Powell is looking forward to the challenge ahead and will have to make some late calls on a few players: “The five guys who we’re rested last week will come back in and we have a few checks to make on Jesse and Junior who left the field on Sunday with concussion, they’ll need to go through the protocol and pass those tests to play.”

Tickets for the match are available to purchase now from the Tigers Den club shop in Carlton Lanes shopping centre and can also be purchased online here. Fans can save £2 per ticket buy purchasing down at the Tigers Den prior to game day.
