We all deserve to enjoy life and feel good about ourselves. Sometimes however life can be tough.
Whether you’re feeling great and want to stay that way, you’re a bit fed up; or you’re struggling to manage your feelings, this site has links to information and tips ranging from how to boost your mood, to where to get help if you’re unable to cope.
The site has been developed for people living in Warrington, so some of the services are for local people only. The words indicate which services are aimed at Warrington residents. Many of the links are for national sites however, so the information will be relevant wherever in the UK you live.
Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group is the new organisation that is taking over the responsibility for making sure that the people of Warrington have the healthcare services they need. Although we will not be the legal body until April 2013, we took over responsibility from the primary care trust (NHS Warrington) on 1 April 2011 and are making the decisions with delegated responsibility. This means we are already doing the job and working like we will from April 2013.
The 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS foundation trust provide treatment, support and guidance for people affected by mental ill health and learning disabilities. They are here for people of all ages, living in the boroughs of Halton, Knowsley, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan, and offer day care, in-patient care and community services.
We help the people in our community to enjoy positive mental health, and support those who are experiencing difficulties. With a team of dedicated and expert staff, and working closely with our local partners in each borough, we provide a better view on mental health.
‘Mental health’ covers a range of symptoms, conditions, thoughts and feelings, so we offer different types of care depending on individual needs. The first thing we always do though, is listen.
