Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) are groups of local GPs that work together to plan and buy (commission) NHS health services in England for their local population.
CCGs work with patients, health and social care partners to meet local health and social care needs.
NHS Richmond CCG is made of all 29 GP practices in the borough of Richmond and is responsible for planning and buying health services for people living in in the borough.
West London Mental Health Trust (WLMHT) is one of the largest and most diverse providers of NHS mental health services in the UK. We provide care and treatment for around 33,600 people each year.
We offer care, treatment and support for a range of conditions or illnesses affecting people’s psychological wellbeing.
In some cases, our services will be for people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act 1983 – either by being detained in hospital or through being on a community treatment or guardianship order.
One in four of us will experience a mental health condition at some point in our lives. Our job is to help people to recover and manage their symptoms so they can get on with living their life.
Richmond Borough Mind is rooted in the local community and exists to meet local mental health needs. Our vision is of a society where people who experience mental health issues and their carers enjoy a good quality of life within their local communities.
